Found: a B2B use for Twitter

      05.27.2009 | Author: i-Lines | Posted in Online PR

Confused.com, the consumer comparison website, may have found a B2B use for Twitter with what public relations trade magazine PR Week is calling “the first ever ‘twitch’”.

The website’s PR manager used the micro-blogging site as a platform for her invitation to pitch – just a quick tweet to say she was starting the process, if the truth be told – and within an hour had a response from four PR agencies pitching for the job.

You’d expect the final successful candidate to come from that shortlist. After all, any other agency is going to struggle to convince confused.com that they’re familiar with social media like Twitter. I’ll be watching to see who gets the job.
